Jason Borges spent 9 years with the NYC Department of Education as a Senior Director of Literacy Interventions in the Division of Specialized Instruction & Student Support. He was the director of the Office of Interschool Collaborative Learning as well as a clinical literacy instructor and coach in Animas Valley. Jason was a humanities teacher in Arts & Letters school, Blue School, and P.S. 149. He has a Bachelor of Arts in English Literature, a Master’s in Elementary Education, a Master’s in Advanced Literacy Specialization – Administration & Supervision, and an Advanced Certificate in School Building Leadership and School District Leadership.
